Year 1 had a delightful day in the picturesque woodland of Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre. There was great excitement from all as the children took part in a number of fun learning activities that linked with our ‘And It Grew’ topic. The two classes identified trees, created beautiful pictures with natural materials, planted seeds, played the parts of flowers and bees in an exciting pollen collection game and so much more! It was a special day for the children and the perfect location for their first experience of a school trip.
