World Book Day 2025 On Thursday 7th March, Oaklands Schools celebrated our love of books by dressing up as some of our favourite book characters. Some children visited Pinehurst care-home to read books to the residents and then we held a shared read with the Juniors in the afternoon.

In the first two weeks of the half term, Year 2  became junior Pizzaiolos for the morning at Pizza Express in Fleet. Year 1 Scooter Workshop 2025 We were fortunate enough to take part in an amazing scooter workshop at the start of the half term. We learnt about keeping safe, starting and stopping and saying, “Excuse me, please” to pedestrians.

NSPCC Number Day 2025 On Friday 7th October Oaklands Schools took part in NSPCC Number Day. The children came dressed up as a number – with some very creative ideas! During the afternoon Infants and Juniors met up to take part in a range of number games and activities.
