On Tuesday 3rd October we held our first ‘Reading for Pleasure’ morning. The school hall buzzed with the sound of parents and carers reading to their children. Some of very talented Year 2 children have spent the year developing their musical skills and were proud to perform a range of songs to the whole school and their parents in the end of year Music Assembly. Well done to all the children who took part.

Year 1 have been enjoying their experiences during our Far Far Away topic. In particular, the children were ever so excited during their Chinese Workshop sessions, which gave them a chance to experience elements of Chinese culture. On Wednesday 28th June, we had our Infant School Sports Day with all children able to participate in fun activities. On Tuesday 23rd May 2023, Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic day with Kwame from African Activities. They learnt all about the culture, dance and music from different African countries. The day culminated with a short musical performance to parents.
